How do I order?
Select the model you’d like, pick all your options, then checkout! It is that simple. Once you checkout I will contact you to go over and verify your order, go over any special options or requests, and catch any errors before your build starts.
How much does a guitar cost?
Base models start at 3499.99 CAD.
What if I don't want to wait for a guitar?
Contact me! I have instruments in stock and I almost always have builds on the go! If I am not building guitars for other people I am always building something I want and think is cool! There will almost always be an instrument in various stages you could jump on. Some options might be limited as much of the instrument will already be built, but you’ll be able to choose all the options that are not already finished on the instrument in question. This could greatly reduce your waiting time.
Where is my guitar built?
I am a one man operation in Alberta, Canada. Everything is built by myself in my home shop. Nothing is outsourced.
What frets do you use?
I use Jescar extra Jumbo frets. I use nickel frets, but if you want stainless that is not a problem!
What finish options are available?
Almost anything within reason. I love trying new colours, bursts, lava/marble paint, candy, etc. I primarily use Polyester finishes. Nitro is avalable as well. If you want custom paint, contact and ask me.
Do you do custom inlays?
Yes. Depending on the complexity and materials this can add significant time and cost to the instrument. If you send me some pictures and ideas of what you would like, we will discuss and come up with something that works.
What hardware do you use?
Mainly Gotoh, Hipshot, and Evertune. You can absolutely make a special request though. For parts not listed on the order forms there may be upcharges depending on the request.
Can I have a special option not listed?
Yes! I love trying new things, parts, finishes, woods, etc. If you want something not listed just ask.
Can I see my guitar during the build process?
Absolutely. I take lots of pictures of everything I build. You will likely see them without even having to ask just by following my social media. I will keep you updated throughout the entire process. Just be reasonable. All the time spent emailing and setting up photo shoots is time not spent getting your guitar built for you!
How long does it take to get my guitar?
3 Months. I only accept enough orders that I can comfortably finish them in that timeframe. In some circumstances (such as procuring obscure or rare materials, specific parts being on back order, intricate inlays etc) it could be longer, however you will be contacted up front with an ETA and timeline of the process before any payment is accepted.
What pickups do you use?
All guitars come standard with Corrigan Pickups. You can view them at corriganpickups.com. Padriag builds excellent pickups and is extremely knowledgeable. You can have any pickup on his website, and if you want something specific, we can work between the 3 of us to get you exactly what you’re after. Padriag can do custom winds, custom covers, bobbins, etc. He even has a laser if you want some cool custom artwork on your pickup covers. I wont even charge you extra for it! You can literally have whatever you want that he offers! I would encourage you to jump in and try these pickups.
That being said, You can have any pickups you would like. For “normal” pickups (Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, etc), this is included in the cost of your guitar. There is a small upcharge for active pickups as we will install a battery box into the guitar for you. Boutique pickups and special requests may be an upcharge.
Do you have an artist program?
Not yet, but if you are a touring/recording artist I would love to hear from you. I am absolutely open to working out a deal with you that works for both of us!
